The PADERNO Fast Response Digital Cooking Thermometer has a bright, backlit black and white LCD screen and wide temperature range of -40 to 260 deg C (-40 to 500F). Featuring a Hold button for viewing temperatures in hard-to-read places and long probe to measure the internal temperature of larger items. The screen flips and display rotates for both right-and left-handed use. With Auto-Off and Sleep mode features, and a sheath that can be used as a holder. Requires 2 CR2032 batteries (included).

    Thermometer works great but end piece fell off after 2nd use - wasnt glued well. Luckily that piece is for looks & the thermometer still works.

    this is a warning

    I read the reviews, including all the one star ones claiming it was defective out of the package, even after changing the batteries, but I decided to buy it anyway because what are the chances? Who knows, maybe these people just couldnt figure out how to use it.
    The one I came home with didnt work out of the package, even after changing the batteries. If youve read this, I hope you make better decisions than me and buy a different thermometer

    Not long lasting

    I have had for about 3 years and it no longer works. The lights are on but I only get dashes now, no readings. What a waste!
