Heavy

The kettle is very heavy and the window that shows how much water is in it is very difficult to read. Should have a light. The outside of the kettle is very hot to the touch. Should have some kind of insulated. Disappointed in this purchase.

Lid won't open - burn fingers

So frustrating that the pop up lid doesn't work. Have to press on back of lid to get it open and burn your fingers. Not a safe product.

Decent, but wait for a sale

Had this kettle for about a year. It's a good kettle. Looks good on the counter. Has a blue light on the back to show that the kettle is on which is nice. As others mentioned, the kettle is heavier than others so it's deceiving how much water is inside. The water level viewing window is on the backside, behind the handle. Not the best location for it, but I guess it doesn't take away from the look of the kettle if it had been placed on the side. There is a button on the top to open the lid when adding water. Press in and the top pops open. The odd time the lid will stick and you have to press the button again, or just give the lid a tap. Cleaning the kettle more often may prevent this though (?). Other than that, it has been good. No issues. It's pricey for a basic kettle but we got it on sale, which is what I would suggest doing if you're looking at purchasing.
